How ClarisEdge handles information collected through this website.
ClarisEdge is a product and service operated by TelosLens LLC ("we", "us"). ClarisEdge publishes category previews and reports for consumer brands, specialty retailers, ecommerce teams, and other category operators. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it. It is provided for general information and is not legal advice.
Information we collect
We collect limited information that you choose to share or that is needed to operate the site:
- Email sign-ups, such as your email address and any related preferences you submit to access a category preview or to receive report updates and category announcements. These forms are hosted by MailerLite, which manages our list and sends our email.
- Request details you provide when you request a category, contact support, or ask about custom work, such as your name, email address, organization, category of interest, and message. Custom report inquiries are collected through a Tally form.
- Purchase details if you buy a report, such as order, delivery, and support information. Checkout and payment are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; we receive order and customer contact details from Lemon Squeezy but never see or store your full card details.
- Basic website usage data collected through Google Analytics 4, such as pages viewed, referring pages, device and browser information, and approximate region. We use this in aggregate to improve the site.
How we use information
- To send email updates you requested, including report availability and category announcements.
- To respond to support messages, category requests, and custom report inquiries.
- To deliver reports you purchase and provide related support.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and improve ClarisEdge.
- To maintain site security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
We use third-party service providers to operate parts of the site. They process information only as needed to provide their services to us:
- MailerLite for email sign-up forms, list management, and email delivery.
- Lemon Squeezy for checkout, payment processing, tax handling, receipts, and delivery of purchased reports. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for those purchases.
- Google Analytics 4 for aggregate website usage measurement.
- Tally for custom report and category request forms.
- AWS Amplify for website hosting.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help TelosLens LLC operate ClarisEdge, when needed to deliver a product or respond to you, or when required by law.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses cookies or similar technologies for basic site functionality and for Google Analytics 4, and the MailerLite, Lemon Squeezy, and Tally embeds set their own as needed to work. We use analytics to understand aggregate site behavior, not to sell personal information.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time using the link in any MailerLite message, or by emailing . You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to any information we need to keep for legitimate business or legal reasons.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, such as sending requested updates, supporting purchases, responding to inquiries, maintaining business records, and meeting legal obligations.
Children
ClarisEdge is intended for business and professional use. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
